Common questions
Neither — it's two separate apps published by Moschovakis: True North, a training logbook, and Lucid North, a lucid-dreaming trainer. They share a maker and a design language, not an account or a codebase. You can use one and ignore the other.
Both are in private testing now. The closed beta opens in Q1 2026 — launch-list subscribers first, one app at a time — followed by public release on Google Play, with iOS after that.
Your data lives on your device, not on a server. Both apps work offline, there is no account to create, and nothing is sent to an analytics pipeline. You can export everything you put in.
Both have a free core that stays free. Each has one optional paid tier — constraint-aware coaching in True North, extended protocol guidance in Lucid North.
One email when each app goes live. That's the entire list.
